ONLY SIGNS FOR LONDON DEBUT AT OUTLET SHOPPING AT THE O2 AMONGST SERIES OF TENANT INVESTMENTS
Outlet Shopping at The O2, London’s best-performing outlet, has announced a series of retail investments across the scheme. This flurry of activity is led by the signing of international fashion brand, ONLY, for its London outlet debut, and reflects the continued appeal of Outlet Shopping at The O2 to leading retailers.
With over 1,200 stores across Europe, Asia, and North America, ONLY will make its London debut in a 4,000 sq ft space, a stone’s throw from the likes of kate spade new york, Calvin Klein, and Reiss, placing it firmly among the destination’s leading retailer mix. The Danish brand will stock affordable styles across womenswear, menswear, and children’s collections, alongside footwear and accessories. This location will provide ONLY with a key launchpad into the capital, whilst adding a distinct point of difference to the destination.
Another diverse addition is menswear retailer, The Label Yard, which has opened the doors to its 1,323 sq ft unit. The brand acts as a hub blending niche retailers with established brands, stocking a range of everyday staples and seasonal pieces. This, alongside ONLY, will further build upon the success of the fashion category, which celebrated a 14% uplift in September sales vs September 2025.
These latest additions to the outlet coincide with recent recommitments from internationally revered retailers, French Connection and Le Creuset, both choosing to reinvest in their respective 1,766 sq ft and 1,353 sq ft stores within the scheme. These recommitments come as a response to their success within Outlet Shopping at The O2, and reflect prime retailers’ desirability to remain at London’s best-performing outlet.
Louisa Dalgleish, Leasing Director at Outlet Shopping at The O2, commented: “While our outlet is already home to a mix of leading retail, we’re always exploring ways to evolve and deliver a varied and distinct experience to our visitors. ONLY signing for its first London location reminds us that Outlet Shopping at The O2 remains a prime destination for retailers, especially those launching milestone stores. This, alongside reinvestment from French Connection and Le Creuset, reflects our leading position and demonstrates the confidence that the best-of-the-best continue to have in Outlet Shopping at The O2.”
Robin Ward, UK Country Retail Manager at ONLY, also said: “The O2’s great reputation extends firmly beyond the arena, and it’s this combination of leading retail in an iconic location that drove our decision to launch our London debut within Outlet Shopping at The O2. As we begin expanding further across the UK, it’s important to us that we select the right locations, and we knew that Outlet Shopping at The O2 was the right place for us to kickstart this journey.”
This news follows the recent announcement that The O2 celebrated its strongest August since launching in 2018, across both Outlet Shopping and the Entertainment District. Most notably, retail sales grew by 11% over the month, significantly ahead of the BRC’s UK average of 0.7%.
