UFC® Returns to The O2 This July

UFC® today announced its return to London on Saturday 22 July, for its second UK event of the year, following the incredible UFC® 286: EDWARDS vs. USMAN 3 in March. Hosted at The O2, London, the world’s premier mixed martial arts organisation is bringing action-packed entertainment back to the UK.

Tickets go on general sale Friday 26 May via www.theo2.co.uk.  ForThe O2and Virgin Media customers, Priority Tickets will be available sooner with a date to be announced in due course.

UFC President, Dana White said “We just had our first PPV event in London – sold out event and shattered every record. The energy in London is always electric. I love you England, I can’t wait to come back this summer with another killer card.”

UK fans witnessed history at UFC® 286: EDWARDS vs USMAN 3, as Leon Edwards became the second British athlete to defend his title on home soil, as he defeated Kamaru Usman by unanimous decision, to retain the UFC welterweight championship. The card also saw a fight of the year candidate between top contender Justin Gaethje and rising star Rafael Fiziev. This sold-out event was witnessed by more than 17,500 fans and set the record for the highest grossing event to ever take place at The O2.

It’s an exciting time for British UFC athletes, with Ipswich’s Arnold Allen headlining cards and fighting the top contenders at featherweight. While, Muhammad Mokaev is on the hunt to become the youngest ever UFC champion. Tom Aspinall is still one of the hottest UK commodities at heavyweight, winning seven of his last eight bouts.
