Bataclan is one of Paris’ most iconic and historic live music venues, located in the 11th arrondissement. With a capacity of approximately 1,500, it has built a long-standing reputation for its intimate atmosphere and eclectic programming, spanning rock, pop, electronic, and alternative music.
Originally opened in the 19th century as a concert café, the venue has evolved over time into a celebrated performance hall, hosting generations of internationally recognised artists and emerging talent alike. Today, Bataclan remains a key cultural landmark within Paris’ live entertainment landscape, known for its distinctive character and diverse artistic programme.
The venue is owned by the City of Paris and operated in partnership with AEG, combining public stewardship with AEG’s global expertise in live entertainment operations, programming, and audience experience. This partnership supports the venue’s continued role as a vital and dynamic part of Paris’ cultural ecosystem.
